My name is Mark Reece. I currently live in Cardiff with my wife Kat and our no children who are as yet un-named. My favourite hobby is playing videogames, while my second favourite is writing about videogames. What started out as a desire to win shitloads of free games on Gameaday by writing reviews quickly blossomed into a love for playing games and conveying my opinion through the medium of WORDS! Between 2006 and 2008 I wrote for a site called AceGamez, which seems to have dropped off the face of the web since I left. After a long stint of using a keyboard only to type shit on Internet forums I started writing for The Reticule in April 2011 before leaving in December 2011. I currently write reviews and features for Nintendo Life - one of the largest Nintendo-focused sites on the 'net - and also joined the Push Square team when the site relaunched in February 2012, typing stuff about all things PlayStation. At the moment I do what I do for the sheer fun of it, but I eventually hope to get into games journalism in a paid position. Stranger things have happened, right? |
